In a Small Backyard of Some Grubby Empire (2015)

In a small backyard of some grubby empire is an installation of a fictional archaeological excavation somewhere in the near future. The installation draws from the clash in archaeology between the domestic and the geologic, inside and outside. It mixes methodologies and processes to create a poetical sculptural narrative. The exhibition was opened by the digging of a earthole outside in the backyard.
