The performance is a theoretical performance that explores different methods of film-without-film: a concept presented by Anne-Francoise Schmid as an extension on Francois Laruelle's Non-Philosophy. In short it is thinking film without its idiosyncratic elements, evoking heterodoxical concepts. The screen in the performance juxtaposes a live image and an animation. The former displays a top-view image constructing scientific tools: diagrams, graphs and drawings to elucidate features in the film-without-film. The latter consists of an animation of science-fictional images. In the context of Science-Fiction the two screens dissolve a distinct barrier between tools of fiction and tools of reality.
